The dlc’s market research division is headed by Managing Director, Cynthia Hemming, whose experience in this area stretches over thirty years. A member of the Market Research Society, her experience in market research techniques includes face-to-face interviewing, telephone interviewing, in-depth interviewing, group tests, product trials, strategic planning and execution of surveys.
She has been worked with Dr David Lewis, the psychologist, author and broadcaster, for the past 20 years and her background in understanding human resources has proved invaluable in enabling her to select interviewers and researchers for projects she has undertaken within the PR and business world. More recently, in the last three years, she has also been working with Phillip Hodson, psychologist, author, journalist and broadcaster on similar projects.
Over the last 20 years Cynthia and her team have been liasing with local radio and TV stations around the country and selling in survey projects produced by the Consultancy.
Cynthia Hemming also owned a Recruitment Consultancy and her experience of recruitment spans over 28 years. She is a fellow of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and in recent years has been its Southern Regional Chairman. Undertaking this role allows her to keep up-to-date with industry and best practice.

Charlotte works closely with Cynthia Hemming acting as both her PA and Project Manager on the surveys and experiments which the DLC conducts.
Her exceptional organisational and planning skills ensure that all research and experiments adhere strictly to protocol. She is a key member of the dlc team and works alongside Cynthia Hemming, Managing Director, in the day to day management and affairs of the Consultancy.
